Application: The application is based on VANTIQ and SYSTRAN technologies for events monitoring and detection using IOT sensors. When an emergency situation is detected, the application allows citizens to trigger an alert and possibly request the intervention of a rescue team.
Solution: Collaboration features are used to help people in real time. The application indicates the nearest shelter and the safest path through geolocation. Real-time translation allows people to communicate with each other in their own language.
Results: Authorities and citizens can minimize the risk associated to disasters (floods, fires, attacks etc.). Cost effectiveness, resources optimisation and lives saved are the first obvious gains.
